Remote Call-IR is a nurse call device that gives residents and staff the convenience of a TV remote control combined with a call cord. The redesigned Remote Call-IR is built on the same solid platform as our Crest Elite Infrared Pillow Speakers. Choose either 10-key direct channel access, large TV buttons or Set Top Box control. The large button model allows residents to easily control TV power, channel and volume. Remote Call-IR is tethered to the wall by the nurse call cable keeping it in reach; also preventing it from getting lost like traditional TV remote controls. Remote Call-IR eliminates the extra buttons on remotes that can frustrate residents. It can be programmed to control any healthcare grade and most consumer grade TVs.

For safety, the nurse call function requires no battery power and will function reliably even if battery life runs out. In most models the TV controls are powered by 2 AAA batteries, included, that will last about as long as typical remote control batteries.
